I work with issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement and loss, self-esteem, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, stress and work-related problems.

I am experienced in counselling people from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a broad range of issues. I have considerable experience of counselling people who have experienced trauma including childhood abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. I am committed to providing a safe and respectful space for individuals to grow, embracing difference in sexual orientation, faith and religious beliefs, culture, race, gender and education.                   

My counselling work history includes working as a counsellor for Therapeutic Services (part of the Big Life Company), as a Crisis Worker for St Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre and as a helpline volunteer and counsellor for Manchester Rape Crisis.

 

My counselling rooms are located in Chorlton, south Manchester, close to the bus station and with easy local parking. One of the rooms is on the ground floor and so is accessible to people with mobility issues. For more details, directions and a map click here
